Welcome to my web page!


I received my B.S., MS., and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey in 1997, 2000, and 2005 respectively. I did my postdoctoral work at the University of Minnesota, in 2005. Since then I have been teaching in the Department of Computer Engineering at Isik University, Istanbul, where I am currently an Associate professor.


My research interests include model selection, statistical tests, natural language processing, bioinformatics, and robotics.
